Tuition is payable to the Treasurer's Office in three options:

in July.
Option #2: Semiannual installments due and payable:
50% by July 10 and December 10.
Option #3: Ten monthly installments made to “SMART”
tuition payment plan.
(“SMART” is a third party tuition
management service to whom you remit your monthly
payments
directly. Scranton Prep uses “SMART”
in an effort to keep tuition and administrative
costs down.)
Financial
Assistance
In a given school
year, Scranton Prep gives over $700,000
in aid to students, approximately 25%
of the students attending Prep receive grants
in aid. The average grant is over $3500.
Financial grants are determined
through a three step process:
- Families apply by completing and submitting
an online application and most recent
Form 1040* with all schedules, and a W-2
form, by published deadlines.
***Scranton Prep reserves the right to require
official verification of the Form 1040 from the
IRS.
- A financial aid committee will review each application
and grant awards on the basis of objective criteria.
- An interview can be scheduled with the Director
of Admissions and Financial Aid by parents during
the financial aid process.
Transportation
Many local districts provide transportation pursuant
to Pennsylvania school law. For students who live
outside those districts, Scranton Prep sponsors
buses serving Luzerne, Wayne and Monroe counties.
Prep underwrites the majority of the costs for
these buses.
